What I Get to Do: A Reflection on Growth, Impact, and Moving Forward

The last few months have been a whirlwind—personally and professionally.

There’s been a lot of growth, a lot of reflection, and, truthfully, a lot of questions.

Questions like: "Am I on the right path?" Is this really the best way to keep building?"

In the midst of navigating new opportunities, health goals, and the always-evolving world of digital business, one answer keeps coming back to me—I get to do this!

✔️ I get to help businesses strengthen their client relationships.

✔️ I get to support nonprofit organizations that are changing lives.

✔️ I get to use my skills—communication, community-building, client retention strategy—to make a real difference.

✔️ I get to be of service, not just in my work but in my community.

✔️ I get to help organizations create deeper, more meaningful relationships with the people they serve.

✔️ I get to lead with authenticity, using strategy and heart in equal measure.

✔️ I get to remind others (and myself) that meaningful impact is built step-by-step, moment-by-moment.

✔️ I get to celebrate milestones with clients, partners, and community members who trust me to be part of their journey.

From Terry Miller Tots to community projects today -

turns out, building community has always been part of the plan!

The Esteem Agency has been named a double nominee for the Brampton Board of Trade’s 2025 Business Excellence Awards—nominated for both Community Contributor and Community Choice.

It’s a full-circle moment because honestly, I haven’t always been great at sharing the impact I’ve made. Not because it wasn’t meaningful—(you can read some of the recent collaborative wins here 👇🏾— but because like many entrepreneurs and community builders, I’m often busy doing the work, not always talking about the work.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learned through this reflection, it’s that impact deserves to be shared—not for recognition, but to inspire, encourage, and show others what’s possible when you lead with purpose.

So, today, I'm celebrating:

🎉 Showing up authentically, consistently, and compassionately.

🎉 Supporting youth programs and local nonprofits like EnRoute 2 Success & JA Central Ontario.

🎉 Driving community engagement for events like Flow Fest with Brampton On Stage.

🎉 Building relationships rooted in trust, collaboration, and long-term success.

🎉 Strengthening membership and client experience strategies with organizations like the Brampton Board of Trade & Settify.

🎉 Being nominated for two Brampton Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards: Community Contributor & Community Choice.

No, I don't have all the answers. Yes, the road ahead still feels uncertain at times.

But because of what I get to do, I know I'm walking in alignment—even when I can’t fully see the destination yet.

To everyone who's supported, collaborated, and cheered The Esteem Agency on—you’re a part of this journey too. I'm excited for what’s next.

I'm grateful for what’s been. And no matter what happens, I'm proud of the path I'm building.

💜 Because it's not just about what we achieve—it's about how we show up.
